Biography
Lisa Marie is from Winter Garden, FL. Yes, born and raised there. It's just west of Orlando for those of you who don't know. Lisa began taking dance classes at a very early age. She was always starring in school plays and such. Lucy in "You're A Good man Charlie Brown" was a favorite, which she reprised once in the professional theatre world. In highschool, she helped to teach a Musical Theatre Summer Camp at FBC of Orlando helping children ages 5-10 learn teamwork and focus and of course, to have fun. She also choreographed "Annie" at The First Academy. When she directed and choreographed "Snoopy" for the District Thespian Competition, 2 of the actors were chosen as the male and female Outstanding Actor for the District. She recieved the award herself the year before.
She holds a B.F. A. in Acting from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where she recieved training in acting, dance, and voice. Lisa was in many plays and musicals. Favorite roles from her time at WSU include Bella in "Lost in Yonkers" and Perdita in "A Winter's Tale."
Upon graduation from WSU, Lisa became an apprentice at The Barn Theatre in Augusta, Michigan. This prestigious summer stock theatre is the oldest and last For Profit Summer Stock/Regional Theatre in America. (Other theatres that survive soley off of box office are the Broadway theatres in New York.) Famous barn Theatre Alumni include Jennifer Garner, Tom Wopat, Kim Zimmer, Marin Mazie, Jonathan Larson and the list goes on. Lisa began earning her way toward her Equity Card by working at The Victoria Theatre in Dayton for The Human Race Theatre Co. She got her Equity Card after her second summer as an apprentice at The Barn Theatre. From there, she moved on to New York City and has been in various shows, workshops, films, and soap operas. Lisa Marie returned to The Barn as a member of The Barn Theatre Resident Equity Company for the 2007 Season.

Lisa Marie married fellow Barnie, Eric Petersen, on October 20, 2007 after meeting at The Barn in 2003.







Currently, you can find Lisa performing in the Las Vegas Company of Mamma Mia! at The Mandalay Bay Theatre.
Lisa thanks God, Eric, and her entire family, Mom, Dad, Trey, Granddad, Gradmom, Grandpa, Grandma, Uncles, Aunts, and cousins for always being supportive and loving. I love you guys more than the flowers on Blueberry Hill.
